Job summary

Teachers Federal Credit Union in New York is seeking an Events Specialist to provide operational and administrative support for Membership Development and Community Affairs, coordinating event logistics and maintaining inventory.

You will assist with lead-generating events, manage storage areas, and help organize internal and partner events while adhering to procedures and delivering reliable support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Requires 1 year of general work experience
• Valid NYS driver’s license required
• Storage/supply room experience preferred
• May drive a company vehicle to local branches, partner locations and event sites
• Microsoft Excel, Word competency required

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating logistics for lead-generating events, including ticket requests, distribution, delivery, setup, breakdown, and return of promotional materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records and storage areas for Membership Development and Community Affairs for all regions
• Keep storage rooms and units clean, organized, and stocked
• Conduct routine inventory counts and report discrepancies or reorder needs
• Receive deliveries, verify order accuracy, and stock inventory; report damages
• Support implementation and execution of Membership Development and Community Affairs programs and events
• Organize, schedule, and book logistics for events, including pre- and post-event activities
• Provide support for internal events such as leadership meetings and summits
