Job summary

Macomb Community College is seeking a coordinator to manage performer and presenter hospitality, travel arrangements, and on-site accommodations for Cultural Affairs Department events and presentations.

This role supports contract management, coordinates with Production, Technical, Marketing, and Operations staff, and oversees housing, meals, Green Room stock, and related logistics to ensure smooth engagements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and hospitality/food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contract requirements with internal departments and clients.
• Enter and maintain event schedules and needs in EMS and calendars.
• Oversee events as directed by Production and Technical Managers.
• Advance housing, transportation, and meal needs for performers/presenters.
• Arrange local travel and lodging as contracted.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Operations on VIP events and donor functions.
• Assist with backstage needs and duties as assigned.
• Maintain health code standards for Green Room and storage areas.
