Banquet Supervisor

Department: MCC South Campus 700185

Employment Type: Part Time

Location: Macomb Community College

Reporting To: Heather Hintz

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Banquet Attendant to join our team. The Banquet Attendant will be responsible for setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Event Setup: Arrange tables, chairs, linens, silverware, and other event equipment according to the event plan.
  2. Service: Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  3. Clean-Up: Clear tables, remove dishes, and ensure the banquet area is clean and orderly during and after events.
  4. Coordination: Work closely with the kitchen and event coordinators to ensure timely and efficient service.
  5. Customer Interaction: Address guest needs and requests promptly and courteously.
  6. Safety and Sanitation: Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
