Ian's Pizza in Milwaukee is hiring a part-time Counter Server to greet customers, take orders, and ring up purchases at the counter or during events.

No experience required, the role offers flexible shifts with tips, a friendly team, and opportunities for growth; daily tasks include stocking, POS use, and keeping the area clean to ensure smooth service.

• Able to read, write, and speak English comfortably with team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take slices and orders, and ring up purchases at the counter and during events.
• Keep your area clean and stocked, assist with shift checklists, and support the team as needed.
• Assist with off-site catering shifts, including at Marquette University events.
• Work with team to ensure fast service in a high-volume setting.

$13-$18/hour to sling legendary NY-style slices in Milwaukee, WI.

We're hiring a part-time Counter Server to start immediately, working at our Story Hill restaurant and our Off-site Events!

About the Role

Jump in and keep things moving! As a server, you are the friendly face slinging slices and making customers' days. You'll greet customers, get slices in and out of the finishing ovens, mix salads, take pick-up orders by phone and at the counter, and ring folks up at the register.

You'll also keep your area clean and well-stocked, work with the team to complete shift checklists, and you'll pitch in where needed to keep the restaurant or the event/catering stand running smoothly.

No experience required, though previous server or customer service experience is a huge plus. We offer clear paths for growth, with ongoing training and opportunities for promotion.

Counter Server Scheduling

Story Hill is open Sunday-Thursday 11am-11pm, Friday-Saturday 11am-12am. Typical server shifts include lunches (10/11:30am-4pm) and dinners (4/5pm-9pm/12am/1am).

Our Catering and Offsite Events vary in day, time, and location. The shifts we're most in need of are at Marquette University for lunches (Mon-Fri 10:30am-2pm). Other locations where we regularly have offsite shifts include the Panther Arena, Baird Center, American Family Field, and more!

Ideal candidates have open and flexible availability with weekday lunch shifts preferred. One to two shifts per week will be in the restaurant, and two to three shifts per week at Marquette University.

Part-time hours are available.
