Job summary

Ian's Pizza on Milwaukee's East Side is hiring cooks for fast-paced, high-volume pizza service. You’ll help stretch dough, top and bake pies and keep your area clean and stocked while learning on the job.

No prior experience is required, but dough-stretching or line cook background is a huge bonus. Full-time and part-time hours available; growth and promotion paths exist within a fun, team-driven setting.

Qualifications

• No experience required, training provided.
• Previous line cook or dough-stretching experience is a plus.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Cook NY-style pies from dough to bake and plating.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked.
• Work with the team to complete shift checklists and support kitchen operations.
• Assist in other areas as needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

About the Role

Impress your friends and family with your pizza-making skills! From hand-stretching dough to topping and baking, we'll teach you everything you need to cook up one heck of a pizza pie. You'll also keep your area clean and well-stocked, work with the team to complete shift checklists, and you'll pitch in where needed to keep the kitchen and restaurant running smoothly.

No experience required, though previous line cook, dough-stretching, or pizza-making experience is a huge plus! We offer clear paths for growth, with ongoing training and opportunities for promotion.

Job Requirements

If you're a team player who brings effort and good vibes to every shift, we wanna hear from you!

• Able to stand, walk, be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
• Able to tolerate touching and being around allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.
• Comfortable using ovens, knives, kitchen tools, and other equipment of the restaurant biz.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.
• Comfortable working and communicating in loud, fast-paced working environments.
• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).
• Able to read, write, and speak English comfortably with team and customers.

Pizza Cook Scheduling

East Side is open Sunday-Thursday 11AM-Midnight, Friday & Saturday 11AM-2:30AM. Typical shift times include lunches (9:30am/10:30am-5:30pm/6:30pm), non-closing dinners (4pm-11pm), weekday closes (5:30pm-1:30am), and weekend late night closes (10/11pm-4am).

One late night shift per week is required; late night shifts are Friday or Saturday from 10pm or 11pm-4am.

Ideal candidates are available for weekday and weekend closing shifts.

Part-time or full-time hours are available.
