Job summary

Jackson Health System's Foundation Operations department seeks an Events Coordinator to provide day-to-day support across all phases of foundation events, from planning through post-event wrap-up, ensuring smooth logistics and professional execution.

Working with the Director of Events, you will manage timelines, vendor coordination, COIs, invoices, and onsite setup/breakdown, with availability for evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid license or certification as needed, based on job/specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, logistics, and coordination for Foundation events.
• Support vendor communication and maintain tracking of contracts, COIs, invoices, and related documentation.
• Help maintain event timelines, run-of-show documents, and production schedules.
• Participate in venue walkthroughs, vendor meetings, and pre-event planning sessions.
• Provide onsite event support, including setup, breakdown, vendor coordination, and guest assistance.
• Support post-event follow-up, including documentation, reporting, and file organization.
• Maintain organized digital files and ensure all event documentation is stored accurately.
• Work evenings and weekends as needed to support event operations.
• Perform all other related job duties as assigned.
