Sphirea Plus is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Events Assistant to support the planning and execution of various events. The ideal candidate will assist the events team with logistics, vendor coordination, on-site support, and post-event evaluations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of events from concept to completion
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and service providers
- Manage event setup and breakdown logistics
- Monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Support the team with administrative duties such as scheduling, inventory, and budgeting
- Provide on-site event support and troubleshooting as needed
- Collect feedback and prepare post-event reports
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event planning, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in event coordination or administrative support is an asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
