Job summary

Valley Senior Living in Grand Forks, ND, is seeking an Event & Volunteer Coordinator to join our Foundation development team. This full-time role builds relationships with volunteers, donors, residents, families, staff, and community partners while creating events that enhance the lives of those we serve.

You’ll recruit and engage volunteers, coordinate opportunities across the organization, maintain volunteer and donor records, and serve as a liaison between volunteers and Valley Senior Living.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, donor or volunteer software, event coordination, volunteer organization, or donor relations is preferred.
• Relevant work or volunteer experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, orient, engage, and recognize volunteers.
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities across the organization.
• Maintain volunteer and donor records.
• Serve as liaison between volunteers and Valley Senior Living.
• Plan and coordinate events such as Golf Classic, Giving Hearts Day, Around Our Table, and other initiatives.
