Job summary

Heartview Foundation is seeking a dynamic Fundraising and Donor Engagement Manager to lead donor relations and fundraising initiatives in Bismarck, ND. This role emphasizes relationship building with donors, planning annual fundraising activities, and overseeing event logistics to support Heartview’s mission.

You’ll work in-person, with opportunities to collaborate across teams, manage budgets, and drive donor engagement through strategic outreach and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field; or equivalent fundraising experience.

Responsibilities

Heartview Foundation, is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care for individuals seeking substance use disorder treatment. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Fundraising and Donor Engagement Manager! In this role, you will be the face of the organization, representing Heartview Foundation with professionalism at meetings and community events to build and maintain strong relationships with our donors.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will include researching and cultivating relationships with potential funders, ranging from individual community donors to business donors and Heartview Alumni.

• Building and maintain profitable, long-term fundraising relationships with current and potential donors.
• Develop an annual fundraising plan and budget.
• Create and maintain detailed revenue and expense reports for all fundraising events, contributing to the financial transparency of our initiatives.
• Play a crucial role in planning and executing fundraising events for the organization, showcasing your event management skills.
• Actively participating in organizational and community meetings, as well as other designated gatherings, you will contribute to the overall success of Heartview Foundation.

Position Hours

This position is in-person in Bismarck, ND.

The Donor Relations Manager position is available for both Full-Time or Part Time employment.

• Full-Time employment would consist of 40-hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Part-Time employment would consist of 24-32 hours per week, Scheduled days would be determined upon employment.

Position Pay Range

• Full-Time: $60,000 - 75,000/year
• Part-Time: $28.85 - 36.06/hour

*A bonus structure will be implemented after 6-months of employment based on donation results.

Requirements

We’re searching for individuals who are dependable, compassionate, and eager to make a difference. Our ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field; or the equivalent years of experience within a fundraising career is required.
• At least two years of experience within the fundraising field minimum is required.
• The right candidate will also hold an active and in good standing driver’s license.
• Great organization, ability to pay attention to fine details, takes initiative, and has great communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and comply with our drug-free workplace policy.
