Job summary

Valley Senior Living is seeking an Event & Volunteer Coordinator to support our Foundation development team. This full-time role builds relationships with volunteers, donors, residents, families, staff and community partners, guiding events that enrich the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities include recruiting and coordinating volunteers, maintaining records, and partnering with teams to plan events like Golf Classic, Giving Hearts Day, and other community activities, directly supporting

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, donor or volunteer software, event coordination, volunteer organization, or donor relations is preferred.
• Relevant work or volunteer experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, orient, engage, and recognize volunteers; coordinate opportunities across the organization.
• Maintain volunteer and donor records and serve as liaison between volunteers and Valley Senior Living.
• Plan and coordinate events such as Golf Classic, Giving Hearts Day, Around Our Table, Music Therapy, Oktoberfest, Tree of Life banquets, and Craft & Bake sales.
