Job summary

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking an Event Manager to recruit, hire and supervise in-store Product Demonstrators. You will oversee product preparation, training, and presentation, while ensuring food safety and excellent service to Costco members.

This role requires strong communication with warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators, including new location grand openings. CDS offers a set Tue-Sat schedule, full-time benefits, disability coverage, a 401(k) plan and generous paid

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years in retail, hospitality, or food environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to train and coach staff.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and hire part-time staff for in-store events.
• Oversee product preparation and presentation, ensuring safety and sanitation.
• Train Demonstrators in event demos and customer service excellence.
• Coordinate with warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators.
• Participate in new location grand openings as required.
• Direct activities to achieve sales activation and efficient operations.
