Job summary

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking an Event Manager to oversee recruitment, hiring and supervision of in-store Product Demonstrators and oversee product preparation, training, and presentation for Costco demonstrations.

The role involves coordinating between warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators, and may include participation in grand openings at new locations. CDS offers full-time benefits and a structured schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience in client-side, branded, consumer-packaged goods company or related mix of client/supplier experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to train and evaluate staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct all activities for successful events, promotions, and sales of vendor products.
• Communicate strategies to achieve sales, service and operational excellence.
• Support governance framework, policies and procedures in collaboration with management.
• Evaluate event performance metrics with District Manager and adjust as needed.
• Aim to achieve revenue and net income objectives through sales activation and expense management.
• Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through improved operations.
