Job summary

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking an Event Manager to recruit, hire and supervise in-store Product Demonstrators, oversee product preparation and training, and coordinate with warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators for new location openings.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication across teams, and delivering high-quality demonstrations as part of Costco’s in-house event marketing.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments.
• Detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead well-performing teams.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement.
• Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct all activities engaged in successful events, promotion and sales of vendor products.
• Communicate strategies and tactics to achieve sales, service and operational excellence.
• Support the maintenance and ongoing development of corporate governance framework, policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to evaluate event performance metrics and adjust as necessary.
• Achieve defined revenue and net income objectives through sales activation, strategy and expense management.
• Optimize customer satisfaction/loyalty through improved operations.
