Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive team member to join our trade show production company. As an Event Specialist, you’ll be the key liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless planning and flawless execution of trade show exhibits and events. You’ll be responsible for the setup, operation, and breakdown of all equipment at various trade show venues. Our company works with LED tiles regularly, so comfortability with that is a must. This job will include travel two to three times a month during our busy season, February - May, as well as occasionally throughout the remainder of the year.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for previewing and setting up booths in the warehouse to prepare them to be show ready at the event
  • Manage the inventory, packing, and shipping of booth materials, graphics, and products
  • Travel with and oversee on-site booth setup and teardown, ensuring all elements are installed to spec and on schedule
  • Coordinate with event managers, exhibitors, and venue staff to ensure timely and professional execution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the event and willing to be on call during the active event
  • Develop and maintain detailed event production timelines and checklists
  • Flexibility and ability to understand and work many jobs at the same time
  • Ability to communicate clearly what your needs and expectations are
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience in AV equipment, trade show coordination or event management
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Familiarity with trade show logistics (freight, union labor, exhibit space regulations, etc.)
  • AV certifications (e.g., CTS) and understanding of all sound and visual equipment are a huge plus but not required.
