Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dallas is seeking an experienced Event Space Optimization Manager to maximize the utilization and value of the hotel’s meeting and event space. You will oversee the lifecycle from inquiry through post-event review, collaborating with Sales, Event Planning, Revenue Management, Banquets, and Operations.

The ideal candidate blends strong event knowledge with analytical thinking, balancing client needs, sales opportunities, and long-term space utilization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of hotel Sales, Catering, Event Planning, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of meeting and event space, event programming, room sets, and lifecycle.
• Experience with Envision or comparable hotel Sales and Catering systems preferred.
• Ability to read and evaluate Programs of Events, function-space diagrams, and group room blocks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review meeting and event space inventory to maximize utilization.
• Review space placements to optimize value based on guestrooms, attendance, and F&B.
• Partner with Sales and Events to create efficient booking patterns.
• Identify opportunities to release space when programs change.
• Monitor space booking patterns, gaps, and opportunities for future sales.
• Collaborate with operations to address production requirements and room resets.
