Job summary

Loews Atlanta Hotel is seeking a proactive Banquet Houseperson to ensure flawless event setups and breakdowns. You will execute room preparations, arrange tables, chairs, and décor and assist with breakdowns according to BEOs.

The role requires you to maintain cleanliness, coordinate with other departments, and respond quickly to guest requests during events. Qualified candidates have at least one year of banquet experience in a high-volume setting, the ability to lift 100+ pounds, and a

Qualifications

One year experience in a mid-high-volume banquet and/or restaurant within an upscale hotel or restaurant preferred.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift 100+ pounds repetitively throughout the shift.
Able to move portable furniture and equipment from storage to function rooms.

Responsibilities

Execute room setups and breakdowns per Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
Ensure furniture and equipment are placed safely for weddings, meetings, and events.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in banquet and storage areas.
Assist with light maintenance and report issues to leadership.
Coordinate with banquet captains, servers, and other departments to ensure seamless execution.
Respond to guest and team requests during events and manage last-minute changes.
