Loews Chicago O'Hare seeks a proactive Banquet Houseperson to create seamless event experiences. You will set up spaces, place tables and chairs, and ensure everything is guest-ready for weddings, corporate galas, and other functions.

You will collaborate with banquet leaders and event teams to execute flawless setups, maintain clean environments, and respond quickly to last-minute changes with a can-do attitude, thriving in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented; precision matters for event setup.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication with banquet staff.
• Calm under pressure and able to adapt to changes during events.
• Physical stamina to lift and move equipment throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Execute room setups and breakdowns per BEOs (tables, chairs, décor).
• Place furniture and equipment safely for events (weddings, meetings, social functions).
• Keep banquet and storage areas clean and organized for future events.
• Inspect event spaces before, during, and after functions to ensure readiness and quality.
