Job summary

Loews Arlington Hotel seeks a proactive Banquet Houseperson to ensure flawless event experiences. You will execute setups, maintain clean banquet spaces, and respond quickly to last-minute changes with a can-do attitude.

Collaborate with banquet leaders and staff across departments to deliver weddings, corporate galas, and social functions that impress guests and exceed standards. A fast-paced, hands-on environment supports your growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a mid-high-volume banquet/restaurant in a luxury hotel.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend and lift 100+ pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to move portable furniture and equipment between rooms.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute room setups and breakdowns based on BEOs, including tables, chairs, staging, and decor.
• Position furniture and equipment safely for weddings, meetings, and social events.
• Maintain clean, organized banquet and storage areas for future events.
• Inspect event spaces before, during, and after functions for quality.
• Assist with light maintenance of banquet equipment and report issues.
• Respond to guest requests during events, including last-minute changes.
• Monitor and restock banquet supplies and communicate inventory needs.
• Collaborate with banquet captains, servers, and other departments to ensure seamless execution.
• Uphold safety standards and maintain a professional guest-ready environment.
