Job summary

The Town of Parker, Colorado is seeking staff to assist in the operations of the PACE Center and The Schoolhouse, support cultural events, and handle event setup, maintenance, and facility rentals.

You will reconfigure rooms, transport and set up event supplies, and ensure clean facilities before, during, and after events. Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or closely related area is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Town officials, community organizations, the public, promoters, coworkers and supervisors.
• Working knowledge of computers and modern office practices and procedures; familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all event set-ups and room restores in the centers including reconfiguring rooms for classes, workshops, meetings and events.
• Transport, setup and dismantle equipment including tables, chairs, linen, pipe and drape, stanchions, barricades, dance floors and moderate audio/video equipment.
• Maintains restroom facilities before, during and after events; cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping and replenishing supplies.
