Royal Palms Resort and Spa is seeking an Event Set-Up Houseperson (on-call) to prepare and break down meeting spaces for events. The role involves indoor and outdoor setup with tables, chairs, and water, requiring the ability to lift moderate weight and strong communication skills. The position is on-call and paid hourly.

This role is fast-paced, with staff on their feet for most shifts, supporting banquet operations and guest experiences. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills are required.
• Ability to lift/push/pull moderate weight and work indoors/outdoors.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Set up and break down all meeting spaces (indoors and outdoors) with tables, chairs, water, etc.
• Maintain clear communication with team and guests while on duties.
• Stay on your feet for a majority of the shift in a fast-paced environment.
