Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an on-call Banquet Houseperson to support events in Fort Lauderdale. You will set up function rooms, assist with AV services, and ensure equipment is properly maintained and stored.

The role requires high attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work during event hours. Responsibilities include breaking down setups, keeping areas clean, and assisting with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with audio-visual equipment and hospitality practices preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow set ups, cleaning, storage procedures.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently set up tables, chairs, platforms and equipment per group requirements.
• Provide audio-visual services including setup, instruction, take-down and secure storage of equipment.
• Pick up and deliver boxes/materials for functions as needed.
• Service and refresh function rooms during breaks.
• Break down tables, chairs, platforms, and other equipment and return to storage area.
• Keep function and equipment storage areas neat and clean.
• Perform deep cleaning of function areas as assigned.
• Participate in special projects and committees as requested.
