Job summary

CSUN is seeking a Customer Service Worker-Powered Cart Operator to support events at The Soraya and other campus theaters. You will drive powered carts, assist patrons, tear tickets, and help with seating and hospitality tasks.

Preferred qualifications include experience as The Soraya Usher, CPR/First Aid certification, and catering or food service background. A valid California driver's license is required; hours are intermittent and on-call, with possible evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience as The Soraya Usher for at least one semester preferred.
• CPR, AED and/or First Aid certifications preferred.
• Catering or food service experience is a plus.
• Valid California driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Scan or tear tickets, distribute programs and assist patrons to seats.
• Monitor security cameras and manage entry for artists and staff.
• Set up, maintain and clean hospitality, dining and kitchen areas as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance and report on powered cart operations.
• Attend meetings and training sessions including safety and crowd-control training.
• Other duties as assigned.
