Job summary

CSUN in Northridge seeks a Customer Service Worker-Usher/Powered Cart Operator to support events at the Soraya and campus theatres. You will scan tickets, assist patrons with seating, maintain hospitality areas, and operate powered carts between parking and venues.

Requirements include a valid California driver license and strong customer service skills. CPR/First Aid/TIPS certifications are a plus; evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, preferably in performing arts or events.
• Ability to assist patrons, handle seating, and deliver friendly service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Scan or tear tickets and distribute programs.
• Assist patrons with seating and late seating as needed.
• Operate powered carts for audience transport between lots and theatre.
• Maintain hospitality areas and report cart maintenance issues.
• Attend training and meetings including safety and evacuation procedures.
