Hourly Rate:$18.42 per hour; non-exempt classification
Duration: Academic Year (Fall/Spring) with the possibility of extension
Work Schedule: Up to 20 hours/week (no more than 999 hours per calendar year.) Schedule developed with the Event Services Coordinator
Training Period: Two months with the possibility of extension
Under the direct supervision of the Event Services Coordinator, the Event Services Aide provides maintenance support to the University-Student Union (U-SU). The Event Services Aide performs simple routine tasks and projects for the effective operation of the U-SU and its programs, activities, and events.
A background check/live scan (including a criminal record check) must be completed satisfactorily for an employment offer to remain valid. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or the continued employment of current employees who apply for the position.
The person holding this position is considered a mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
