Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring part-time Event Security staff to support stadiums, arenas, and venues. You will check bags, control access, and provide exceptional guest service at events.

No experience needed – training provided. Starting pay is $18/hour with weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career growth. Must obtain required security license where required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Background Investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Verify entry into the venue; check tickets, wristbands and badges, direct entry/exit traffic.
• Screen guests at entry using bag searches, hand wand or metal detector and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff and venue assets by monitoring for security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond to crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Follow venue policies, procedures and regulations of different venues and events.
• Provide directions and assistance to enhance guest experience.
