Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring Event Security staff for game days and events, including in Cleveland venues. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and a starting wage of $15.50 per hour.

You will perform bag checks, access control, and guest safety while delivering high-quality service. The team seeks reliable individuals who are 18+, have a high school diploma, and can pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Must pass background investigation and post-offer drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required if driving a company vehicle.
• Ability to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Control access and verify entry by scanning tickets, wristbands, or badges and directing traffic.
• Screen guests at entry using bags, metal detectors, or ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and assets by monitoring for security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when necessary.
• Understand policies and regulations of various venues and events.
• Provide a positive guest experience at entrances and concourses.
