BEST Crowd Management in Wilmington, NC is seeking an Event Security Officer to help ensure the safety of attendees, staff, and property at major events. You will uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service while patrolling venues and monitoring access points.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and can pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old per local regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous event security or related experience is advantageous.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence to client and BEST standards.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter incidents and ensure attendee safety.
• Monitor access points, conduct bag checks, screen entry.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, or unauthorized entry.
• Coordinate with staff, law enforcement, and emergency services.
• Assist attendees with questions and directions.
• Document security occurrences and submit reports.
• Uphold company policies to maintain professionalism and security.
