Job summary

Legends Global, in partnership with ASM Global, seeks a Public Safety and Security Manager for the Wilmington Convention Center. This full-time role ensures a safe, welcoming environment for guests, clients, and staff, overseeing all safety operations and security systems during events.

The role leads a team, develops plans, coordinates with law enforcement, and enforces life-safety standards. On-site position with competitive benefits and opportunities to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of safety/security supervisory experience in a public assembly facility.
• Knowledge of emergency response and crisis management.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement public safety and security plans for events.
• Schedule and supervise security personnel.
• Coordinate emergency response with law enforcement, fire, EMS, and partners.
• Investigate incidents and maintain security documentation.
• Lead Security operations and ensure life-safety compliance.
• Collaborate with event managers for staffing and safety planning.
