Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Public Safety and Security Manager for the Wilmington Convention Center to lead all safety, security, and event risk management, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for guests, clients and staff.

You will oversee security operations, emergency preparedness, training, and collaboration with local agencies, with responsibilities including staffing, compliance, and incident response.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years safety/security supervisory experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement public safety and security plans for events.
• Schedule and direct security personnel for all events.
• Monitor crowd management, access control, and life-safety compliance.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, EMS and other agencies.
• Lead the Safety Team and ensure training and drills are conducted.
