Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. is seeking an Event Security Officer for The Chicago Theatre in Chicago, IL.
The role is part-time and involves greeting guests, bag checks, wanding with magnetometers, and directing guests in and out of the venue while maintaining safety and a positive experience. The officer will monitor CCTV and alarms, respond to security or medical situations, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays in a 24x7 environment.

As an Event Security Officer at the Chicago Theatre you will promote positive guest/client experiences during the beginning (ingress), middle of event and show departure (egress). Event Security Officers are responsible for greeting guests, searching bags and wanding guests if they alarm on the magnetometers. This role will also ensure the safety of guests, assist with emergency or medical situations, and answer general questions regarding the event or the Chicago Theatre. As a crucial member of our team, Chicago Event Security Officers may be requested to work a flexible schedule inclusive of early mornings, day & evening shifts (late evenings may be required), weekends, holidays and back to back events. Additionally, Event Security Officers may be assigned to an area with adverse temperature/weather conditions such as observing the surroundings for any threats or directing guests in/out of the theater while being positioned outside of the building. Event Security Officers will be required to stand and move freely throughout the property during their shift.
