Job summary

Player 15 Group, the sports and entertainment company behind the Phoenix Suns, seeks a Manager, Event Security to lead security for NBA/WNBA games, concerts, and special events in Phoenix. You will deploy staff, design security plans, and coordinate with event management and public safety agencies.

The role focuses on safety, guest experience, and professional leadership, with opportunities to shape ongoing training and performance review across part-time and full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Progressive management experience in sports, entertainment, or public venues.
• Knowledge of NBA/WNBA security standards and operations.
• Experience leading large security teams and event deployments.
• Strong communication and collaboration with high EI.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead event security operations for NBA/WNBA games, concerts, and private events.
• Develop and execute event-specific security plans with event management.
• Serve as point of contact for incidents and emergencies.
• Build and supervise a high-performing security team.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and lead training sessions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Guest Services and Event Management.
