Job summary

Halo Sports & Entertainment seeks an experienced Event Security Manager to lead security operations for the LA Clippers venues, Intuit Dome and Kia Forum. This role covers NBA games, concerts, and events, requiring supervision, budgeting, training, and coordination with partners.

The position is based in Inglewood, CA with a 24/7 schedule and a flexible timing requirement, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays. A bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years direct industry experience in security-related field.
• Supervisory and management experience with a building security or event-based workforce.
• Thorough knowledge of sports & entertainment venue event planning and related activities.
• Experience with governmental resources, including police and fire departments, DHS, FBI, and other local, state, and federal resources.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Thorough knowledge of physical security systems (24/7 Software, CCTV, Envoy, fire alarm, Genetec, Liferaft, Motorola radios).
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in crisis management, investigation skills, security technology, life safety, risk management, payroll, and scheduling.
• Experience with budgeting and creating event staffing estimates.
• Ability to lead, adapt to change, and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement programs that support strategic goals while maintaining high safety standards for fans, employees, performers, and guests.
• Lead, train, develop, and schedule contracted Event Security personnel to ensure a high-performing team.
• Manage the Event Security budget and track expenditures with Finance and Event Operations.
• Develop training programs and safety presentations for staff and stakeholders.
• Oversee security operations for Intuit Dome and Kia Forum, including screening, access control, and Front/Back-of-House operations.
• Communicate effectively with staff and guests during emergencies and maintain Emergency Operating Plans.
• Audit safety and security across venues, addressing vulnerabilities and updating procedures.
• Prepare event security briefings, credentialing, and post-event reports.
• Coordinate with promoters, security partners, and government agencies for staffing and compliance.
• Collaborate with NBA security, visiting teams, and touring production security for each event.
