BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Staff/Security professional for Kennesaw State University in Atlanta. The role combines event staff duties with security tasks to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for attendees.

You will work as part of a dynamic team with strong customer service focus and safety responsibilities. The position is part-time in the Atlanta area, requiring flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in event security or related field is advantageous.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a security license (if required).
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, including equipment, signage, and materials.
• Monitor access points and conduct security checks to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Provide friendly customer service by assisting attendees with inquiries and directions.
• Collaborate with event staff and security to maintain safety and order.
• Assist in crowd management, controlling entry/exit points and flow of attendees.
• Respond to security incidents or emergencies following established protocols.
• Monitor event areas to enforce rules and safety procedures.
• Handle attendee complaints or conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines to deliver high service and security standards.
