Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Security professional to join our team. In this part-time role, you will perform event staff duties alongside security tasks to ensure a safe, welcoming experience for attendees.

You'll monitor access points, assist attendees, and collaborate with staff to uphold safety protocols while delivering excellent customer service at diverse events. Ideal candidates bring reliability and strong communication skills, and can stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary by location).
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (some college education is preferred).
• Previous experience in event security, law enforcement, or related field is advantageous.
• Must be physically fit to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and with diverse individuals.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays per event schedules.
• Possess a valid security license or be willing to obtain one (if required).
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, including equipment and signage placement.
• Monitor access points and conduct security checks to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Provide friendly customer service by assisting attendees with inquiries and directions.
• Collaborate with event staff and security to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist in crowd management and control entry/exit flow.
• Respond to security incidents or emergencies per protocols.
• Monitor areas to enforce rules and safety procedures.
• Handle attendee complaints calmly and professionally.
