Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Staff & Security professional to join the team at Georgia Tech University. The role blends event support with security duties to help ensure a safe, organized experience for attendees.

Candidates should be 18+, have a high school diploma (some college preferred), and be capable of standing for long periods. Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork are essential; a valid security license is a plus and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Prior event security or related experience advantageous.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods; physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and equipment placement.
• Monitor access points and perform security checks.
• Provide customer service to attendees.

• Manage crowd flow at entry/exit points.
• Respond to incidents per established protocols.
• Enforce event rules and safety procedures.
