Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is seeking an Event Staff to patrol all areas of the property and parking lots, secure doors, and ensure the safety of guests, employees, and contractors.

This part-time role pays $15.00-$17.00 hourly. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is expected; prior event experience is preferred. Benefits for Part-Time roles include a 401(k) savings plan and matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of event experience preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service and professional presentation.
• Willing to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Secures the property, including all buildings and doors that should be secured.
• Locks and unlocks facility doors.
• Conducts routine property walks.
• Supports with emergency situations.
• Interacts with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees.
• Appropriately deals with "unruly" people.
• Interact with emergency personnel.
• Provide accurate descriptions and directions.
• Works independently and judges and assesses situations for immediate response.
