Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services in Kansas City is hiring Event Security staff to check bags, enforce access control and ensure guest safety and satisfaction at stadiums and venues.

No prior experience required; training provided. You must be 18+, pass a background check and post-offer drug screening; able to work flexible, part-time hours including evenings and weekends. Starting pay is $18/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check bags and enforce access control.
• Direct guests and manage crowd flow at venues.
• Screen guests with bag search, wand or metal detector and verify IDs.
• Protect guests, staff and assets from security breaches.
• Escort unruly guests when necessary.
• Understand venue policies and regulations.
• Provide directions and enhance guest experience.
