Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring Event Security to monitor entry, enforce access control and support guests at sports venues, concerts, and festivals.

The role involves bag searches, detector screening, wristband verification, and directing attendees while maintaining a welcoming guest experience. Flexible part-time schedules fit students, retirees, or those seeking dynamic, on-site work in the events industry.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required if driving.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Direct venue entry: verify tickets, wristbands, and badges, and manage crowd flow.
• Screen guests during entry using bag searches, hand wand or metal detector, and ID checks.
• Protect guests, staff, and assets by monitoring security at key checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Follow venue policies, procedures and regulations for different events.
• Provide a positive guest experience at facility entrances and concourses.
• Offer directions and suggestions to enhance the entertainment experience.
