Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is seeking Event Security staff to join our team at sports venues, concerts, festivals, and conventions. You will check bags, enforce access control, and apply site policies while delivering superior guest service.

We offer flexible part-time scheduling, weekly pay, and ongoing paid training. Requirements include being 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required; driving a company vehicle may require additional screening.
• Ability to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Overtime availability may be required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Control access and verify tickets, wristbands, or badges.
• Screen guests at entry using bag checks, metal detectors, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and venue assets from security breaches.
• Respond quickly to crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Follow venue policies and regulations across different events.
• Provide directions and helpful information to guests.
