Job summary

B&M Catering seeks an energetic Event Sales Coordinator in Pawtucket to drive business development and scale B2B catering accounts. You will implement outbound sales blocks, engage in field marketing, and convert inbound inquiries into bookings for weddings, corporate events, and private parties.

Your role includes crafting event orders, coordinating with operations and kitchen teams, and representing the brand at local events to grow market share across RI, MA, and CT.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in business development, event sales, catering coordination, or proactive B2B phone sales in the food & beverage industry.
• Structured outbound phone outreach, cadence execution, and closing quotes/contracts.
• Organization and detail orientation for producing Event Orders (BEOs) and managing event timelines.
• Familiarity with catering CRM software, POS tools, and standard office tools (MS Office/Google Workspace).
• Brand ambassador mindset and willingness to represent the company at regional events.

Responsibilities

• Structured Daily Power Hours: conduct 2x daily outbound sales blocks to secure B2B orders and holiday events.
• Field Marketing: follow up on Boxed Lunch/Cornbread Drops and pitch time-limited promos to convert leads.
• Inbound Lead Conversion: qualify and convert inquiries via phone, email, and web forms.
• Brand Representation & Networking: attend local Chamber events and community activations to build relationships.
• Sales Collateral & Presentations: present brand pillars and campaigns to drive bookings.
• Event Detailing & BEO Creation: finalize menus, dietary options, beverages, timelines, equipment, and staffing.
• Off-Peak & Seasonal Promotion: push Holiday Micro-Packs and corporate party packages.
• Cross-Departmental Logistics: coordinate with Operations Director and kitchen leadership for smooth handoffs.
• Preferred Venues & Vendor Management: coordinate with venues, tent rentals, florists, and external vendors.
• Administrative & CRM Management: maintain client records, pipelines, and post-event reviews.
