Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an Event Attendee Registration Copy Editor/QC Lead for a hybrid, 12-month role. You will establish and enforce quality standards across all event registration sites, acting as the primary QA reviewer for attendee-facing content and site functionality.

You will coach site builders, develop best practices, and identify opportunities for process improvements. You will perform corrections in the Cvent platform and support broader priorities for high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English or Journalism is required.
• 3+ years of copyediting/proofreading experience in advertising or media.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and business writing.
• Experience performing QA reviews of subscriber or customer-facing content.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary QA reviewer for attendee-facing content before launch.
• Review content for grammar, formatting, and presentation quality.
• Ensure usability, navigation, and attendee experience across registration sites.
• Maintain branding, accessibility, privacy, and operational standards.
• Provide actionable recommendations to fix quality issues and track recurring problems.
• Edit and update content within Cvent registration sites as needed.
• Support testing, QA, and launch readiness activities.
• Collaborate with planners, marketers, and partners to ensure high-quality content.
