Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale event programs from design through close, coordinating with sales and operations to meet client expectations. Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of technical experience in the Corporate Staging or Broadcast industry.
• 1+ year of Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong technical background.
• Strong Client relationship skills.
• Familiarity with budgets and cost control.
• Operational logistics experience.
• MS Office experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and communicate technical production schedules and labor plans to team members, vendors and venue partners.
• Determine and secure resources required to successfully complete each project.
• Maintain focus on client needs by attending client meetings and documenting show details.
• Monitor project scope and adjust to ensure successful completion.
• Assist sales and operations to determine equipment needs and technical solutions.
• Review sales documents to ensure equipment and positions meet client needs.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and provide outstanding service.
• Provide leadership for Associate Project Managers on multi-PM events.
• Act as onsite project leader and client contact throughout the event.
• Manage all phases of event technical execution from load-in to load-out.
• Manage on-site inventory and changes; communicate project plan to team.
• Mentor Encore team members on best practices to improve knowledge base.
• Ensure compliance with Technical and Production Standards.
• Follow up with clients on-site to ensure equipment works properly.
• Assist in creating and analyzing project budgets and mitigate costs.
• Manage event costs and billing alignment.
• Support post-event invoicing and vendor payments.
• Ensure compliance with Encore policies to minimize liability.
