Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Prep Cook to prepare foods for guests at our venue. The role involves working with a team, handling hot and cold dishes, and maintaining sanitation standards. The position requires ability to work events and maintain excellent attendance.

Qualifications

• Prep cook/kitchen experience preferred.
• Can operate standard kitchen equipment listed.
• Strong communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for prepping high-quality, fresh food products in a timely manner for delivery to guests.
• Prepares hot and cold foods following company recipes and portioning requirements.
• Participates as a team player with specific responsibilities related to preparation, service, and delivery of product.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance required for kitchen equipment.
• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Responsible for observing and testing foods to ensure proper cooking.
• Responsible for portioning, arranging, and garnishing food plates for delivery to guests.
• Consults with Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor to plan menus and estimate food consumption.
• Demonstrates excellent attendance in line with company standards.
