Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is seeking an Event Planning Manager to service sales bookings and act as liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff.

You will sell, contract and service affiliate groups, administer sales agreements, detail Food & Beverage and AV needs, manage room blocks and billing, and ensure flawless on-site event execution. We are looking for the very best to join our AAA 4-Diamond Hotel, featured in the Top 10 of all Meeting Hotels in the United States per Cvent.
The Event Planning Manager’s primary focus is servicing sales bookings. This position acts as the liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel staff. The ideal candidate will sell, contract and service affiliate groups. Responsibilities include: administering the Sales agreement, detailing all Food, Beverage and A/V needs, managing room blocks and pick up, billing instructions and final review. Event Planning Managers also are the on-site contacts and are responsible for the smooth execution of all events.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $$70,600 to $88,100. This is the pay range for this position that Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
