The Grand Hyatt San Diego, a waterfront AAA 4-Diamond hotel in downtown San Diego, is seeking a Meeting Connections Manager to lead group sales and service clients from inquiry through contract.

You will manage 10-150 room groups, collaborate with hotel departments to deliver exceptional service, and drive revenue within a performance quota. The position offers hourly pay with full-time benefits and Hyatt career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years previous hotel experience.

• Refined verbal and written communication skills.

The Meeting Connections Manager is an entry-level sales department job in the hotel with a performance quota. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, selling groups of 10-150 rooms on peak night, ensuring their needs and expectations are met from initial inquiry through the conclusion of the contract process. The Meeting Connections Manager will collaborate closely with various hotel departments to deliver exceptional service and ensure the success of each meeting or event.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Build strong relationships with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences, providing personalized service to enhance their experience.
• These individuals handle special accounts or a specific role and carry a revenue quota.
• Develops new leads and researches new business potential within an assigned market.
• Makes direct calls to potential clients and manages internet based lead websites.
• This position is responsible for booking short term meetings for the hotel and is fast paced.

The range for this position is $32.21 to $38.89 per hour ($67,100 to $80,900). This is the pay Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
