Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is seeking a Restaurant Manager for Sally’s Waterfront Dining to oversee daily restaurant operations and deliver exceptional guest service in a high-volume, waterfront setting.

• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite), including proficient knowledge of point-of-sale systems, and reservation systems.

• Supports and manages the restaurant while working closely with hotel departments
• Supports the F&B MOD for outlet operations by learning all operating outlets across the hotel to support when appropriate
• Ensure alignment with immediate supervisors and two directly reporting assistant managers
• Responsible for short- and long-term planning to achieve financial and service goals
• Ensure effective hiring, training, and individual/team development
• Accountability of teams’ service and professional standards
• Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results

The Restaurant Manager of Sally’s Waterfront Dining is responsible for managing the daily opportunities required by strong leadership, and manage the day-to-day operation of hotel outlets. This position is also ultimately responsible for the quality of service provided.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $72,800 to $95,000. This is the pay range for this position that Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

• Hotel experience and a thorough understanding of restaurant service
• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant or Restaurant Manager is preferred
• Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and effective in providing exceptional customer service
