Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in the United States seeks an Event Planning Manager focused on servicing Sales bookings. You will act as liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff to ensure flawless events.

Responsibilities include administering the Sales agreement, detailing Food, Beverage, and A/V needs, managing room blocks and billing instructions, and serving as on-site contact for smooth execution.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment, with refined verbal and written communication skills.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to handle a fast paced environment.
• Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program.
• Preferred candidate has completed PSS or equivalent training.

Event Planning Managers also are the on-site contacts and are responsible for the smooth execution of all events.
