Currently, we are looking to welcome a Freelance Event Marketing Manager who is a driven and detail-oriented professional with a passion for event strategy, production, and cross-functional marketing execution. Your Expertise:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B event or field marketing, with a history of executing successful events across various formats.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to balance multiple initiatives and stakeholders under tight timelines.
- Tech-savvy with working knowledge of Google Suite, Salesforce, and Marketo; experience with Bizzabo or similar event platforms is a plus.
Your Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of end-to-end event execution, including virtual summits, trade shows, field activations, roundtables, and flagship initiatives.
- Own event logistics end-to-end, from budgeting and scheduling to contracts, collateral, swag, sponsorships, travel arrangements, and internal communications.
- Partner closely with internal groups across Sales, Customer Success, Clinical, Partnerships, Finance, and Operations to ensure unified messaging, smooth workflows, and timely delivery.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of assets.
- Conduct post-event reporting to measure success, capture insights, and drive improvements for future programming.
- Support international event planning and assist with virtual experiences using platforms like Bizabo, managing pre-recorded sessions, speaker logistics, and content uploads.
- Take ownership of attendee communications, lead follow-up tracking, and integration with CRM and marketing automation workflows.
- Perform additional duties as needed in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in B2B event or experiential marketing, ideally within a growth-stage tech or SaaS organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events and stakeholder relationships simultaneously, while delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with a professional, resourceful, and proactive approach.
- Strong grasp of event strategy, lead generation, and event tech platforms; understanding of Bizzabo, Salesforce, Marketo, and the Google Suite is preferred.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (5–10%) and the ability to support onsite logistics as needed.
- International event planning experience is a bonus.
