Cambria Detroit is expanding its Sales and Marketing team and seeks an energetic Event Sales Manager. You will manage event documentation, coordinate with Sales and property departments, and ensure a high level of service throughout pre-event, event, and post-event phases.

The role emphasizes revenue growth through upselling, proactive planning, and exceptional guest experiences, with a focus on seamless turnover from sales to service and back to sales.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Engaging presentation skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proven time-management and organizational skills to manage complex events.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Ability to work onsite with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with Sales, property departments and customers.
• Maximize revenue through upselling and event enhancements.
• Serve as primary contact for event planners post-turnover and ensure seamless transition to Event Operations.
