Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking an experienced Event Manager to plan, organize, and execute events at the Utah Valley Convention Center in Provo, Utah. This role requires close client coordination, data collection, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure successful on-site execution.

Responsibilities include proposing solutions, managing event setups, and maintaining post-event documentation. Salary ranges from $48,000 to $52,000 annually, with full-time benefits including health,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in event coordination, convention services, and/or meeting planning.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in facility management, hospitality management, marketing, public relations, business management, or related field.
• Graduate of IAAM Public Assembly Facility Management School preferred; CMP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet, confer, consult, and maintain continuous contact with potential and contracted clients.
• Provide timely, accurate proposals, estimates, and layout drawings to clients.
• Recommend products and services to meet client needs and maximize revenue and experience.
• Ensure all required contracts and documents are executed on time (rental contracts, COIs, permits).
• Manage and oversee setup of events and ensure on-time completion.
